Emmanuel Kiio was born in 1997. Both his parents died of AIDS. He is a quiet boy and has found his place with the other boys at the centre. |

Vincent was born in 1998. Both his parents are dead. He lived on the streets with his sisters for a short while to beg. Since he’s been at the centre he is doing well. He is a little behind at school. |

Marion was born in 2001. Both of her parents are dead. When she had just arrived at the centre she cried a lot and only wanted to sit on someone’s lap. She is now a happy, well adapted girl. |

Mwangi was born in 2004. He is too small to go to school and is therefore at home with the house mothers. He very much liked being the youngest at the home because he got all the attention. He had to adapt a lot when Moses came! Mwangi is a charming little boy, who fully knows how to use his charms. |

Moses was born in 2004. His mother lives on the streets and is unable to take care of him. Moses was in bad shape when he arrived at the centre in August 2006, very frightened and cried a lot. In the meantime he has gotten used to the centre and to the other children and he is doing well. |
